Cold, flu or coronavirus season...prevention is always better than cure!
Here are 6 practical steps to take now:
1. Order your customized vitamins today. If you haven't already, take my IDLife assessment and answer that you’re concerned about immune protection to increase your protective nutrients. The Immune Support Essential pack is available as an affordable option to address your gaps. Zinc lozenges and Vitamin C packs are good resources to have on hand too.
2. Decrease risk of exposure in public places including public transportation by using disinfectant wipes, using elbow to open doors, knuckles to press buttons and implement good hand washing. Now is not the time to be shaking hands, drinking or smoking behind others.
3. Make sure you have batteries and a working thermometer on hand to check temperature as needed. This is not the time to be randomly visiting people or accepting uninvited guests. Reduce your risk of exposure and keep your family safe by controlling your environment as much as possible.
4. Stock up on essentials now to maintain you during any mandated quarantine period. Think items for baking, canned goods, soups or meal prep and make a few things that you store in the freezer now.
5. Maintain adequate hydration. Make sure you have water and/or filters on hand. A few jars of IDLife Hydrate will provide a variety of flavors, essential electrolytes and coconut powder for cell penetrating hydration.
6. If you’ve been exposed or suspect that you’re sick, stay at home and quarantine yourself. Contact your care provider for next steps and if you’re unable to manage your symptoms or have difficulty breathing seek immediate medical assistance.
