If you're like me, you want to look good as you feel good. Both my outward confidence impacts my inward confidence and vice versa. But I find that when wintertime comes, it's harder to coordinate what to wear when bogged down by the winter weather. If you come across a similar issue, this blog is for you because I am going to share a few brands I find are cute, fitness friendly, and perfect for the cold weather.

For a shopping splurge, I have to start with Ivy Park x Adidas. As we all know, Beyoncé is THE is a queen of music and fashion, but when she ventured into sports fashion I was really excited, especially since her line dropped in the middle of our winter! The Ivy Park x Adidas line features many layers of styles, but I was especially drawn to the windbreaker jumpsuit that was famously shipped to a myriad of celebrities in a huge orange box. Most times I have to dress for the weather, I find myself in bulky sweatshirts and leggings that don't necessarily match or compliment my shape. And most importantly, sometimes when time is short, we have somewhere to be directly after the gym and need an outfit that is equally sporty as it is on the go chic. The collaboration also features different shoes ranging from running, to white sole sneakers, to a sexy sports sock heeled stiletto.
The prices for this collection range from smaller accessories being $30 to outerwear priced up to $250.
Although this is a collaboration to shop, everything is currently sold out, so I'd recommend getting on that waitlist just like me!

Outdoor Voices is a brand taking the athletic social media industry by storm with their inclusive branding and clothing. You absolutely will feel no pressure when shopping this brand. They make you feel confident as you are, despite the scary pressures that come along with trying on clothes.
Promoted by many celebrities, one that sticks out for me is Naomi Shimada, a body positive social media influencer, helping women and people everywhere deconstruct their inner pressures of what it means to be perfect.
Outdoor Voices sells techsweat leggings, a sports bra that finally doesn't give you uniboob (Thank God!), cozy fleece sweaters and jackets that look cute and humble for the cold weather, as well as their signature The Exercise Dress, which features built in spanx.
Some Outdoor Voices retail locations exist, including Chicago. Their clothing ranges from $75-$115 for leggings, $35-$55 for shirts, and $85-$135 for fleece sweaters and jackets.

Gym Shark is one of the newest fitness fashion brands that's come from social media fitness movements. Sold online, their clothes are known for its monochromatic, futuristic outfits built with their booty enhancing leggings and seamless long sleeve top.
Gym Shark has a variety of winter friendly clothes, from cotton joggers to many long sleeve top and sweater options. A cropped shirt/sweater with high waisted leggings/pants creates a proportional waist complimenting outfit. With its skin hugging material, Gymshark clothes help keep out the winter cold.
Overall their pricing is average, with most items ranging between $30 and $40. Some popular specialty items like the patterned seamless long sleeve top can go for $45 and some seamless leggings go for up to $60 while their training leggings start at $30.
For the ultimate outfit, I'd recommend pairing the seamless leggings with a matching seamless long sleeve top under your winter coat.

Target is a no brainer when it comes to affordable cute anything! Over the past few years, it's no secret that they've really rebranded their clothing sections. Adding Who What Wear, A New Day, Opalhouse, Ava & Viv, Wild Fable, and more to its repertoire, many departments from its home, men's, and women's sections have expanded in fashion sense, and inclusivity.
I always tried to avoid getting lost in Targets, but now, nothing holds me back!
The fitness section varies in its clothing options. Brands like All in Motion and Joy Lab bring fashion to the fitness by providing unique marble, flower, and gold foil patterns on leggings, sports bras, and tops. They even design bags, like the Confetti Print Backpack or the Zip Closure Weekender Bag that can easily be paired with an everyday outfits!
What I love about these brands are how simple they are. For the winter, a cute long sleeve twist front t shirt is almost all you need, especially if paired with their patterned leggings!
I really appreciate All in Motion particularly for their inclusive branding and marketing. Their clothes truly are made for all bodies in mind and, as a curvy woman, it makes me feel welcomed when it comes to the fitness clothing industry.
Price wise, both Joy Lab and All in Motion have most of their items priced under $30, however some special pieces like the Premium High-Rise Jacquard Leggings are priced at $40.

As a mother, I need to be a bit more conscious about when, how, and why I purchase items. When running the kids around or in the bustle of work, I ultimately prefer to spend my money on clothes I absolutely know fit, that are affordable, and found in shops I may already be in for the sake of other household errands.
Over the past few years my daughter and I have become progressively more and more obsessed with Ross, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls. These stores are found everywhere, and always give a fantastic deal on both name brand and store brand clothes that have AMAZING quality.
From these stores, we have found Adidas, Nike, North Face, and Fabletics leggings, sports bras, and fitness shirts for $12-$20 that typically go for $30 and above. The deals here are incredible and I would highly recommend a treat yourself visit sometime!
